One of the many things that all humans have in common is the need and desire to decorate themselves and their environment.  I've collected photos of traditional attire and decoration from around the world.  Some of these clothes are contemporary and are worn today in villages and cities.  Some are ceremonial and some can be considered costumes to be worn in performances of one kind or another.  All are wonderful and I hope you enjoy these photos as much as I do.

Yep.  I'm just lousy when it comes to picking titles for my photos.  I mean, I've got one called "Pink Pig" and another called "The Daisies are Dead."  Descriptive?  Yes.  Clever?  I don't think so.  Some people on DeviantArt are Masters of the Title, and I feel great envy of that talent.  So, I've decided to channel my envy into a feature of some of the titles that I particularly enjoy.  I hope you enjoy them too!

Ta-Da! My first ever feature!

During these past few months that I've belonged to DeviantArt, one of the most exciting things that has happened for me has been to connect with people all over the world.  It's truly amazing to me that, no matter our differences and locations, we can come together in this community to share our own unique vision of the world.  To me, children offer us a window through which we can view our commonality and our capacity to have tenderness and to love.  So I present to you a collection of photos of kids from around the world, taken by some very talented DeviantArtists.  Each of these photos inspires and moves me.
